COMEDY PREVIEW, SATURDAY MARCH 14TH!

Hey folks,

Don't forget tonight at 9PM, LIVE ON HBO - WILL FERRELL will host YOU'RE WELCOME AMERICA, a parting gift to comedy audiences everywhere that finds FERRELL doing a finale of his various BUSH personas. It wouldn't be stretch to say FERRELL'S BUSH was a saving grace of the struggling SNL in the early 2000s and anyone who's seen a promo for the special (they've been running heavily on NETWORK TV especially NBC) will tell you it will be worth viewing.

Briefly, FERRELL'S BUSH impersonation launched him into comedic super-stardom. Before BUSH took office, FERRELL enjoyed small roles in SNL co-star's comedies (SUPERSTAR, AUSTIN POWERS) but it wasn't until post 2000 (after BUSH assumed the presidency) that he began his onslaught on the American box-office (ZOOLANDER, OLD SCHOOL, ANCHORMAN, ETC). So much as the BUSH impersonation has serviced the American comedy culture, it has served FERRELL'S career as well. I suspect FERRELL is aware of this, and thats maybe why we're treated to an intimate farewell to one of the most iconic impersonations of recent history (he certainly doesn't need the money).

Regardless the reason - be sure to catch this either LIVE or in the sure-to-follow DVD/BLU, ON DEMAND, SYNDICATION and ONLINE releases.
